Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit the AbyssalEdge Studios website. It is short because we collect very little.

The short version

What we collect

DataWhyHow long
Server logs, including your IP addressSecurity, finding abuse and fixing faults7 days, then deleted
Cloudflare security cookiesProtecting the site from bots and attacksSet and managed by Cloudflare

Server logs

When you load a page, our server records the visit in a log. The log includes your IP address and the usual details of a request, such as the time and the page you asked for.

We keep these logs for 7 days and then delete them. We use them only to keep the site secure, to spot abuse and to fix problems. Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe and working.

Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare to protect the site and to deliver it quickly. Your traffic passes through the Cloudflare network, so Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details on our behalf. Cloudflare runs a global network, so this can happen in countries other than your own.

You can read how Cloudflare handles data in its own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set security cookies to tell real visitors from bots and to protect the site from attacks. These cookies are strictly necessary for security, so they do not need your consent and there is no cookie banner.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

What we do not do

The contact form

The contact form on this site does not send anything. It builds a message in your browser for you to copy. Nothing you type into it leaves your device until you send it yourself by other means. If you then contact us, we use what you send only to reply to you.

Who sees your data

Only the studio, our hosting provider and Cloudflare. We do not share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it deleted, to object to how it is used and to complain to your national data protection authority.

Because logs are deleted after 7 days, we may hold no data about you when you ask. To make a request, use the details in the Contact section of the site.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
